Description
New Travel Assistance sells travel assistance from Argentina and has sales offices in Ecuador, Mexico and Uruguay. Its catalog ranges from short-stay plans to long-stay and youth plans, with specific coverage for sports, pregnancy, pre-existing conditions, pets and trip cancellation.
It sells through two channels: directly to travelers, and through travel agencies, affiliates and insurance brokers. Both arrive at the same site, and both start with the same question: how much does it cost to cover this trip.
Challenge
In travel assistance, the sale is won or lost in the quote form. Visitors want to enter origin, destination and dates and get a price; if the form is awkward on a phone, they go and get a quote somewhere else.
The previous site had forms that followed different criteria, plenty of spam mixed in with real inquiries, and a wide product range that was hard to browse. On top of that came the operation abroad: each office needed its inquiries to reach it directly, not a central inbox.
Solution
We put the quote form at the center of the homepage and redesigned it with phones in mind: origin from more than twenty countries, destination by region, departure and return dates, number and ages of travelers, a phone field with each country’s area code and a discount code field. We tested two date pickers with the client and kept the one that worked best with a thumb, even though it wasn’t the browser’s native one.
Then we put the rest in order: one form per request type —refunds, cancellations, affiliates, contact—, each with its own recipient, and a page for each office abroad with its representative’s WhatsApp. The catalog is organized by type of coverage, validity and trip, and the homepage now shows ten real Google reviews.
Against spam we added reCAPTCHA v3 to every form, which filters without asking anything of the person getting a quote. The site remains under our maintenance and security monitoring.
- Quote form redesigned for phones, at the center of the homepage
- Origin from more than twenty countries and destination by region
- One form per request type, each with its own recipient
- Pages for Ecuador, Mexico and Uruguay with each representative’s WhatsApp
- Catalog organized by coverage, validity and type of trip
- reCAPTCHA v3 on every form
- Maintenance and security monitoring
Impact
The site went live at the end of 2025 and is now organized around the quote: visitors find the form first, fill it in without fighting their phone, and their inquiry reaches whoever has to handle it, whether in Buenos Aires or in an office abroad.
With the spam filter in place, real inquiries stopped getting lost among automated submissions. And the relationship continued after launch: the site is still in our hands, with maintenance and security monitoring.
